Four athletes represented Ranchview at the 4A TISCA Swimming & Diving Championship in Frisco this weekend. Sarah Rovi, Kazuomi Motoike, Sinjin Venegas and Ilya LeBoulch competed in individual events. Venegas was the top swimmer, finishing 30th in the 500 Free and 34th in the 100 Free. On the diving board, LeBoulch, a freshman, was impressive. Even with one failed dive in his list, he managed a 14th place finish. He also broke the school record, held by Kamen Casey in 2009 by 2 points, scoring 219 points for 11 dives. For his performance, Ilya LeBoulch is named the team’s 8th “Athlete of the Week”.
