American Flyers Flight School at the Addison Airport will be hosting an open house and barbeque on Saturday, February 3. This free event is designed to bring those with a curiosity about flying small airplanes to the airport for a fun-filled and informative afternoon. The event kicks off at noon with the complimentary lunch and continues with tours and a presentation by a certificated flight instructor.
Also, training aircraft will be on display and guests are invited to tour the classrooms, flight line and flight simulators. Each guest that attends will be eligible to receive a certificate for two free hours of instruction in one of the flight simulators. An FAA-certified flight instructor will conduct an optional, free FAA WINGS seminar on using flight simulator technology.
Lunch is served promptly at noon, so guests are encouraged to arrive 10 – 15 minutes early. There is no need to make reservations and guests are encouraged to bring friends and family.
