Fort Worth Massage Business Shut Down Over Suspected Human Trafficking

FORT WORTH, Texas — The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) has ordered the 12-month emergency closure of a Fort Worth massage establishment following a human trafficking investigation.

Effective August 13, 2025, Paradise Massage Center LLC and owner Byung Eui Son must cease all operations at 3509 Williams Road at Camp Bowie W. Blvd. They are also prohibited from operating another massage business at the location for the next year.

A TDLR inspection revealed multiple signs of possible human trafficking, including an unlicensed massage therapist wearing revealing clothing, evidence that employees were living at the business, and the absence of required client consultation documents and billing records. An online review found the business advertised on illicit websites. Law enforcement had also recently gathered evidence of sexual activity at the site.

Since late 2023, TDLR has issued 50 emergency orders tied to human trafficking, affecting 69 locations and leading to the license revocation of 52 illicit massage establishments.
