Sweet Treats Have Arrived: ZZ’s Ice Cream Puffs Opens in Irving

ZZ’s Ice Cream Puffs, founded by Air Force veteran Nikita Seal, officially opened its first pop-up shop on Main Street in Irving, Texas, drawing a crowd eager to sample the brand’s inventive desserts. The shop, named after Seal’s twins, Zion and Zia, marks the latest chapter in a five-year journey that began with a single mobile dessert trailer.

Seal’s culinary inspiration traces back to her time stationed in Asia, where she discovered Taiyaki, a warm, fish-shaped treat that sparked the idea for her signature ice cream puffs—soft, fluffy Korean-style buns filled with ice cream and toppings. After being laid off from her dairy job during the pandemic, Seal leveraged her knowledge of ice cream production and her passion for creating unique desserts to launch what would become a beloved part of the Dallas–Fort Worth dessert scene.

Over the years, Seal and her team of Puffatiers have traveled across the region, delivering memorable dessert experiences to countless events. The new Irving pop-up provides a space for the community to gather, enjoy creative treats, and share in the joy that has made ZZ’s Ice Cream Puffs one of the area’s most loved dessert experiences.

With a successful grand opening and ribbon-cutting event, ZZ’s Ice Cream Puffs is now ready to bring its sweet creations—and community spirit—directly to Irving.
