FORT WORTH, TX – A 20-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with a road rage shooting that occurred Friday afternoon on the 6500 block of Azle Avenue.
Officers were dispatched at approximately 4 p.m. after reports of gunfire striking a vehicle following an altercation between two female drivers. Thankfully, no injuries were reported at the scene.
Investigators, with the support of the Fort Worth Real Time Crime Center and video surveillance footage, were able to identify the shooter and driver of the suspect vehicle as Mia Dominguez, 20, of Fort Worth.
Approximately 27 hours later, at around 7 p.m. the following day, Dominguez was taken into custody without incident. She has been charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, a second-degree felony, and is currently being held at the Tarrant County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
Authorities thanked the Fort Worth Police Department and members of the Real Time Crime Center for their assistance in quickly identifying and apprehending the suspect.
No further details have been released as the investigation continues.
