The district’s Elise Walker Outdoor Learning Center (OLC) has been recognized by the Texas Association of School Administrators (TASA) and Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) as a winner in the annual Exhibit of School Architecture competition. The contest showcases new and renovated Texas schools/facilities and celebrates excellence in planning and design of the learning environment. Designed by Stantec, the OLC earned Stars of Distinction in value, sustainability and community. It will be featured at the organizations’ joint convention in Austin later this week.
