At 9:52 am this morning (June 5, 2023), Fort Worth officers were dispatched to the 4800 block of Richardson Street (South Edgewood) in reference to a shooting call.
Upon arrival, officers located a deceased adult male victim with an apparent gunshot wound to his upper body.
Detectives found that the victim and the suspect had been in an argument at the location. During the argument the suspect pulled a handgun and shot the victim.
Homicide detectives are investigating and are speaking with a cooperative witness that was also at the location during this incident.
