Despite immediate medical attention and transportation to John Peter Smith Hospital, the victim tragically succumbed to his injuries. The deceased has been identified as 35-year-old man, Ricardo Rojas.
As investigators delved into the incident, it became apparent that two suspects were involved in the shooting. After carrying out the act, the assailants fled the location on foot, successfully evading apprehension by law enforcement officials. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office conducted an autopsy on Ricardo Rojas and determined the cause of death to be gunshot wounds to the torso and left lower extremity.
