In the early hours of November 18, 2023, at 2:13 am, Fort Worth police responded to reports of a shooting in the 1200 block of NW 35th St. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man with a gunshot wound to the head.
The victim, identified as 19-year-old Luis Carlos Laguna Jr from Arlington, was transported to a trauma center by MedStar EMS. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries at approximately 9:00 am the same morning.
Homicide and gun violence detectives are actively engaged in investigating the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident.
