On Tuesday night, February 13, 2024, the Arlington Police Department responded to reports of a man found lying on the ground in the 2200 block of Remynse Drive in East Arlington at approximately 10:38 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers discovered that the man had sustained gunshot wounds. He was promptly transported to Medical City Arlington, where he was tragically pronounced dead from his injuries. The victim has been identified as 51-year-old Ricardo Garcia-Oliveros Jr.
Authorities have yet to ascertain the reason for the victim's presence at the location. Detectives are actively investigating the incident, scouring the area for surveillance footage and potential witnesses.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the case.
