19-year-old Arrested by Bedford Police for Murder in Connection to Fatal Fentanyl Overdose

Kaeden Farish

Azle resident Kaeden Farish, 19, has been charged with murder in connection with a fatal Fentanyl overdose of a 17-year-old Bedford man in January. Following the Fentanyl overdose, an investigation revealed that Farish sold the victim Fentanyl-laced pills.

This charge comes as a result of a new law that went into effect in 2023, making it a criminal offense of murder for supplying Fentanyl that results in death.

Bedford Police arrested Farish on February 2 on a warrant for manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance. Since then, he has been held in Tarrant County Jail.

Farish's bond has been set at $175,000 for the combined charges of murder and manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance.
