Dallas Small Business Center Launches Microgrant Program to Support Local Enterprises

The City of Dallas Small Business Center has unveiled its groundbreaking Microgrant Program, aiming to bolster the growth of small businesses and stimulate local development. This pioneering initiative offers a lifeline to struggling enterprises, providing them with vital financial support to navigate economic challenges.

Recognizing the indispensable role small businesses play in the community, the program aims to empower entrepreneurs who are the backbone of the local economy. Here are the key features of the Microgrant Program:

  1. Financial Boost: Eligible small businesses will receive direct financial assistance, providing them with the stability and resources necessary for growth.

  2. Inclusivity: The program is committed to inclusivity, welcoming applications from a diverse range of sectors and backgrounds.

  3. Digital Innovation: Utilizing technology, the application process has been streamlined and made accessible through an intuitive online platform.

Applications for the Microgrant Program will open on March 5 and be available here: Small Business Microgrants Program - Source Dallas.

“We want to be intentional about this opportunity to support small businesses who have continued to be challenged by the effects of COVID on their businesses. It is our hope these micro-grants will have a larger ripple effect for supporting sustainability of these small businesses,” said Joyce Williams, Director of Small Business Center.
