Carrollton Man Sentenced to 99 Years in Prison for Sexually Abusing a Child

On March 1, 2024 a Dallas County Jury found 59-year-old Hector Enrique Alvarado-Flores guilty of continuously sexually abusing a child under the age of 14.  The same jury sentenced Alvarado-Flores to 99 years in prison.

The State's case was lead by Black Penfield and Kalle Riner.  The District Attorney Investigator was Edwin Gibson and the Victim Advocate was Flor De La Fuente.  

Alvarado-Flores was arrested in December of 2021, following investigations by the Carrollton Police Department into allegations of sexual abuse.   The abuse stems from an offense dating back to approximately September 1, 2009. Alvarado-Flores faced charges related to Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child, defined as committing two or more acts of sexual abuse against a child under 14 years old within a period lasting 30 or more days.
