On Monday, March 11, 2024, at around 4:56 a.m., the Fort Worth Police Department responded to a major accident at Northeast 28th St. and North Freeway service road (I-35W).
Upon arrival, officers discovered a collision involving a semi-truck and a sedan. Emergency services from the Fort Worth Fire Department and MedStar were swiftly deployed to provide medical assistance.
The driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel. The driver of the semi-truck did not report any injuries.
The identity of the deceased will be released by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office once their next of kin have been notified.
