Fort Worth Police Investigate Fatal Auto-Pedestrian Incident in South Fort Worth

The Fort Worth Police Department is currently investigating an auto-pedestrian incident that occurred in South Fort Worth. On April 3, 2024, at around 3:00 a.m., officers from the South Division responded to a distress call at the intersection of Crowley Rd. and Country Manor Rd., following reports of a possible domestic disturbance.

Upon arrival, officers found a deceased male who had been struck by a vehicle while crossing the street. The Traffic Investigation Unit (TIU) detectives have been tasked with exploring all leads surrounding the incident.

The identity of the deceased individual will be released by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office once the next of kin has been informed.

Authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or possesses relevant information to contact the Fort Worth PD non-emergency line at 817-392-4222. Alternatively, individuals can provide anonymous tips by calling Crime Stoppers of Tarrant County at 817-469-8477.
