Juvenile Suspect Arrested in Connection with Murder at Luxor Hookah Lounge in Lewisville

Lewisville Police Department has apprehended a juvenile suspect in connection with the fatal shooting at the Luxor Hookah Lounge on Friday, March 29.

The 16-year-old suspect was arrested on Tuesday, April 2, at the Xquisite Smoke Shop, 1348 W. Main Street, and is charged with one count of murder. Due to being a minor, the suspect's identity and photo will not be disclosed. Presently, the suspect is detained at the Denton County Juvenile Detention Center.

The shooting incident occurred around 11:44 p.m. on Friday, March 29, when a call to 9-1-1 reported a disturbance at the Luxor Hookah Lounge, located in the 1600 block of South SH-121 Business. A brawl among several individuals escalated, leading the suspect to open fire. As a result, Jayden Tramaine Anderson, 19, lost his life, while another man sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
