The Fort Worth City Council has approved incentives for Embraer’s new service center at Perot Field Alliance Airport, marking a significant expansion of the company's U.S. maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services network. The facility will support Embraer’s growing fleet of E-Jets, bolstering the aviation giant's investment in Texas.
In collaboration with Fort Worth, Denton County, and the state of Texas, Embraer plans to begin operations in an existing hangar by the second quarter of 2025, with a new hangar set for completion by 2027. This expansion will increase Embraer’s capacity to service E-Jet customers in the U.S. by 53%. The $70 million investment is expected to create 250 new aviation jobs in North Texas.
Carlos Naufel, president and CEO of Embraer Services & Support, expressed enthusiasm for the project, stating, “We are excited to receive the final approval for this important expansion of our MRO business that supports our continued investment in the U.S. market.”
The new service center in Fort Worth will join Embraer’s global network, which includes 80 authorized centers and 12 company-owned service centers.
