The City of Irving’s Housing & Redevelopment Division is inviting lenders to attend a Preferred Lender Orientation meeting on Thursday, January 9, 2025, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. The session will be held in the First Floor Council Conference Room at Irving City Hall, 825 W. Irving Blvd.
The meeting will cover essential topics for lenders interested in participating in the Down Payment Assistance (DPA) Program, which helps low- and moderate-income residents purchase homes in Irving. Topics include DPA policies, program requirements, lender responsibilities, application processes, and potential processing barriers.
By becoming a preferred lender, organizations can play a crucial role in helping families achieve homeownership.
