On Friday, January 3, 2025, at approximately 10:45 a.m., Fort Worth Fire Department, Police Department, and MedStar EMS responded to a major accident in the westbound lanes of Highway 183 near Amon Carter Boulevard.
Upon arrival, emergency crews found a sedan with severe damage and a pickup truck engulfed in flames.
Steven Glenn Miller, 69, of Euless, who was driving the sedan, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Authorities confirmed he had been driving in the wrong direction.
The female driver of the pickup truck was rescued by bystanders before the fire consumed the vehicle. She was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by Fort Worth Police.
