20-Year-Old Woman Killed in Early Morning Crash on Hwy 360 in Arlington

Victim: Tanilah Cox

ARLINGTON, Texas — The Arlington Police Department is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred early Friday morning on State Highway 360, resulting in the death of a 20-year-old woman.

At approximately 4:46 a.m. on September 5, 2025, officers responded to the southbound lanes near the I-30 interchange after a Chevrolet Malibu collided with a metal guardrail separating the main highway lanes from the exit ramp.

The vehicle’s driver, a 19-year-old man, was transported to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The passenger, identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office as 20-year-old Ta'Nilah Dion Cox, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Investigators believe the driver swerved suddenly in an attempt to reach the I-30 exit ramp, causing him to lose control of the vehicle. Speed has not been ruled out as a potential factor.

The Arlington Police Department continues to investigate the crash.
