IRVING, Texas — Paris Baguette is expanding its North Texas footprint with a new bakery café coming to Irving Towne Center.
The international bakery chain has leased 4,626 square feet of retail space at Irving Towne Center, located at 3410 W. Airport Freeway at N. Belt Line Road.
The new location will join a mix of national retailers and restaurants at the shopping center, including Target, Pet Supplies Plus, Dollar Tree, Potbelly Sandwich Works, Cato, Chili's and Anytime Fitness.
Lynn Van Amburgh and Guillermo Lopez of Weitzman represented the shopping center in the lease negotiations, while Paris Baguette was represented by DHS Realty.
An opening date has not yet been announced.
Paris Baguette is known for its French-inspired breads, pastries, cakes and coffee. Popular menu items include croissants, Pain au Chocolat, Pastel de Nata, cheese tarts and a wide variety of handcrafted celebration cakes.
Despite its Parisian branding, Paris Baguette is a South Korean bakery-café chain owned by SPC Group and headquartered in Seoul. The company has grown into a global franchise with hundreds of locations across multiple countries.
The Irving café will become the company's 13th location in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Existing nearby locations include stores on South Belt Line Road in Coppell and West Pioneer Parkway in Grand Prairie.
The addition continues the rapid expansion of specialty bakery cafés across North Texas as consumers seek artisan breads, pastries and premium coffee in neighborhood shopping centers.
