Irving-Based Everon Named 2026 Integrator of the Year, Recognized for National Growth and Security Innovation

IRVING, Texas — Irving-based security company Everon has been named the 2026 Integrator of the Year, earning a major industry honor recognizing its business performance, innovation and transformation into one of the nation's largest commercial security providers.

The award, announced October 27, is presented jointly by the National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA), Commercial Integrator and Security Sales & Integration. The organizations select one overall winner each year based on factors including business performance, innovation, employee development and strategic transformation.

Everon, which provides commercial security, video surveillance, fire protection and life safety solutions, was also ranked the third-largest integrated security company in the United States in SDM Magazine's 2026 Top Systems Integrators Report.

Irving Company Expands to More Than 300,000 Customer Locations

Since becoming an independent company in 2023, Everon has worked to combine several established security businesses into a unified national organization.

Today, the company serves more than 300,000 customer locations through a network of more than 100 branches nationwide.

Everon employs over 5,000 people and operates two company-owned, U.S.-based monitoring centers listed by Underwriters Laboratories (UL).

The company provides security and life safety services to a range of commercial customers, including national retailers, financial institutions, multifamily residential properties, data centers and large enterprises.

Everon CEO Credits Employees for Industry Recognition

Don Young, Everon's chief executive officer, credited the company's employees for helping build a more unified organization since its transition to independence.

“This recognition belongs to the thousands of Everon employees who bring extraordinary expertise, accountability, and care to our customers every day,” Young said.

Young said the company has focused on improving consistency and customer service across its national operations.

“Being named Integrator of the Year affirms the progress we have made, but it also fortifies our resolve to keep improving, innovating, and raising the standard for what commercial customers should expect from a security partner,” he said.

Tim Whall, executive chairman of Everon's board of directors, said the company's growth reflects its ability to provide security services to businesses with operations spread across multiple locations.

“This honor reflects the strength of that vision and, more importantly, the commitment of Everon's people to bring it to life,” Whall said.

National Recognition Highlights Everon's Transformation

The Integrator of the Year award recognizes companies that demonstrate leadership in the commercial systems integration industry.

For Everon, the 2026 recognition comes three years after its establishment as an independent company and reflects its efforts to standardize operations and customer service across a nationwide network.

The company's transformation and award recognition are featured in the November/December issue of Commercial Integrator and Security Sales & Integration.
