Boeing Executive Sheena Mitchell Named Chair of Irving-Las Colinas Chamber Board
IRVING, Texas - Boeing executive Sheena A. Mitchell has been named chair of the Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, with her term beginning Oct. 1.
Mitchell, senior director of Distribution Programs at Boeing Global Services, currently serves as vice chair of the Chamber board's Strategic Visioning Committee. Her term as chair will continue through the Chamber's fiscal year.
"I am truly honored that my fellow directors have entrusted me with this responsibility," said Mitchell. "As Board Chair, I will focus on building on the strong growth achieved across key industries over the past 18 months while continuing to enhance our member-investor experience. Our board is committed to collaborating closely with Irving's new city hall leadership, and we look forward to continuing the partnership that has driven economic growth and prosperity for Irving-Las Colinas and its families."

In her current role within Boeing Global Services, Mitchell is responsible for leading the systems and components portfolio for Boeing Distribution, a leading global aerospace provider of parts and services, as well as serves as the Executive Site Leader for Boeing DFW.
Mitchell also spent several years in progressive aftermarket sales and support functions, gaining diverse insight into various aviation market segments. She began her career in supply chain with a major U.S. airline and eventually transitioned into the MRO and aftermarket services arena. She has over 35 years of experience in the aviation industry.
