Water Babies Opens Swim Lesson Locations in Euless and Keller as Part of U.S. Expansion

FORT WORTH, Texas - An international swim school specializing in lessons for babies and young children has expanded into Northeast Tarrant County, opening programs in Euless and Keller.

Water Babies launched the two locations in May, offering swimming and water safety lessons for babies, toddlers and children. Classes are being held at the Comfort Inn & Suites Euless swimming pool and the Hampton Inn & Suites in Keller.

The openings are part of a broader U.S. expansion by Water Babies, which was founded in the United Kingdom in 2002. The company says it has taught more than 500,000 children and currently provides lessons to more than 80,000 children annually through its international network.

"We're proud to bring Water Babies to Northeast Fort Worth, TX, and support families with lessons designed to build confidence, encourage development and teach essential water safety skills," franchisee Stacie Parrish said.

The program offers classes beginning in infancy, with instructors using a child-led approach designed to gradually develop swimming and water safety skills. Children ages 4 and older can participate in the company's Swimvincible program, which focuses on developing greater independence and swimming ability.

The expansion comes as drowning remains a significant safety concern for families with young children. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, drowning is the leading cause of death for children ages 1 to 4 in the United States.

Water Babies says its lessons are designed to help children become more comfortable in the water while teaching skills that can be useful during an emergency. Swimming lessons, however, do not eliminate drowning risks, and young children still require close supervision around water.

The Euless and Keller locations are part of the company's continuing expansion in the United States. Water Babies also plans to expand into Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois and Michigan.
