Eerie Irving Returns Oct. 24 With Free Halloween Activities, Carnival Rides and Spooky Attractions

IRVING, Texas - Irving families looking for Halloween fun can head to Trinity View Park on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, as the city's Parks and Recreation Department hosts Eerie Irving, a free community event featuring spooky attractions, carnival games, rides and other seasonal activities.

The Halloween celebration will run from 6 to 10 p.m. at Trinity View Park, located at 2221 E. State Highway 356. Admission is free, and attendees are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite Halloween costumes.

Park entry will begin at 5:30 p.m., giving visitors time to arrive before the festivities officially start. Entry will close at 9:15 p.m.

This year's event will feature an interactive, spooky-themed walk-through experience, along with carnival games, rides, pumpkin-themed photo opportunities and other activities.

The event is designed to welcome costumed visitors of all ages, from ghosts and ghouls to not-so-scary monsters.

All listed activities are free, although food will be available for purchase from vendors on-site.

Parking and Traffic Information for Eerie Irving

The City of Irving is advising attendees to plan their arrival carefully because parking and event capacity will be limited.

Drivers traveling from Loop 12 should take the Irving Boulevard exit and head east toward Trinity View Park.

Visitors will be able to access the event through both entrances along the service road connecting Irving Boulevard and State Highway 356 to the park.

Directional signs will be posted to help guide vehicles into the event area.

Accessible parking will be available near the park's front entrance.

City officials warn that once Eerie Irving reaches its maximum capacity, additional visitors will not be admitted. The restriction is intended to maintain public safety and manage traffic around the park.

Off-site parking will not be available on nearby city or neighborhood streets.

Residents are encouraged to arrive early, particularly because admission may close before the scheduled 9:15 p.m. cutoff if the event reaches capacity.
