Downtown Irving Hosts Friday Pop-Up Shops Featuring Local Businesses Through December

IRVING, Texas - Downtown Irving visitors will have a new opportunity to support local small businesses this fall as the Main St. Plaza Pop-Up Shop series brings rotating vendors, specialty drinks, sweet treats and unique gifts to the heart of the city.

The weekly shopping event begins Friday, Oct. 9, 2026, and continues every Friday through Dec. 11, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Main St. Plaza, located at 127 S. Main St. in downtown Irving.

Each week, a different small business will temporarily transform a retrofitted shipping container into its own storefront, giving shoppers a chance to discover locally made products and seasonal offerings.

The pop-up shop series will feature a variety of businesses, including specialty beverage vendors, sweet treat makers, bookstores and gift retailers.

The first four participating businesses have been announced, with Pink Matcha Bar kicking off the series Oct. 9.

Main St. Plaza Pop-Up Shop Schedule

Additional vendors for November and December have not yet been announced in the event information.

The Friday evening schedule gives residents and visitors an opportunity to stop by after work, browse local products and explore other downtown Irving businesses.

Organizers are also encouraging visitors to combine their shopping trip with dinner at nearby restaurants or seasonal activities at Heritage Park.

The pop-up shop series runs during the fall and early holiday shopping season, providing participating small businesses with a temporary storefront in a downtown setting.
