Irving Police Hosting Kids Rock the Block Party Cancelled due To Bad Weather

UPDATE:  "In the best interest of those tasked with setting up and tearing down the event and those who would be attending, the decision has been made to CANCEL the Kids Rock the Block Party and look for an opportunity to reschedule. This decision was made in collaboration with our Office of Emergency Management using the most up-to-date weather forecast." - Irving Police Department

On Friday, April 28, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the Irving Police Department will host a Child Abuse Prevention event, Kids Rock the Block Party, outside the Irving Police Athletic League (PAL). There will be a petting zoo, a bounce house, an obstacle course, face painting, and other family-friendly activities. One of the goals of this event is to get families involved in our community. Community involvement and support are among the best predictors for preventing child abuse. This will be a great event that will raise awareness about our Irving Family Advocacy Center and Irving Police Athletic League, who they are, who they serve and the services they provide. This event is free and open to the general public.
