The Lewisville Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying a vehicle and driver involved in a hit-and-run collision that injured a child on Sunday, May 18th.
At approximately 6:15 p.m., officers responded to the 1200 block of College Parkway following reports of a vehicle-versus-pedestrian collision. Witnesses reported hearing a noise and then seeing a child lying in the alleyway. The child was transported to a local medical center for treatment of their injuries. No further details about the child's condition are being released at this time.
The suspect vehicle is described as possibly a truck that was traveling westbound in the alleyway between College Parkway and Grove Drive around 6:15 p.m. on Sunday.
