AZLE, Texas – A 65-year-old man was killed Saturday morning in a two-vehicle collision on FM 730 North, according to Azle Police.
Officers responded around 10:45 a.m. on October 11 to the 1800 block of FM 730 following reports of a major crash involving a Ford F-250 and a Mitsubishi Outlander. Preliminary investigation indicates the Ford was traveling southbound when it collided with the Mitsubishi, which was in the middle lane attempting a left turn.
The driver and only occupant of the Mitsubishi, identified as William Morgan of Newark, TX, was transported to a hospital by medics but later died from his injuries. The Ford driver reported no injuries, while a passenger in the truck was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The Tarrant County Traffic Investigation Unit is assisting the Azle Police Department as the investigation continues.
