Lewisville Teen Arrested in Hit-and-Run That Injured Child on College Parkway

The Lewisville Police Department has arrested 18-year-old Cameron Paul Reynoso in connection with a hit-and-run incident that left a child injured on College Parkway.

At approximately 6:15 p.m. on Sunday, May 18, officers responded to a vehicle-versus-pedestrian collision in the 1200 block of College Parkway. Witnesses reported hearing a loud noise before discovering a child lying in an alley. The child was transported to a local medical center and is currently recovering.

Following an extensive investigation that included canvassing the area and interviewing witnesses, LPD was contacted on May 21 by Reynoso’s attorney, who stated that the suspect wished to turn himself in.

On Friday, May 23, Reynoso voluntarily surrendered to authorities. He was booked into the Lewisville City Jail and is awaiting arraignment on a charge of Collision Involving Serious Bodily Injury. His bond has been set at $6,000.
