A 54-year-old man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison following his conviction for possessing methamphetamine with intent to deliver.
On September 4, 2024, Carrollton Police narcotics investigators executed a search warrant on a room at the Le Meridien Hotel in North Dallas. Inside, they found Jaime A. Green attempting to flush contraband down the toilet. Despite his efforts, officers recovered more than half a kilogram of methamphetamine, fentanyl pills, numerous forged documents and financial records, and drug paraphernalia.
Green, a habitual offender with previous convictions in both state and federal courts, was tried over three days. On May 7, 2025, a jury deliberated for just 55 minutes before returning a guilty verdict. A judge later sentenced Green to 25 years in prison.
The case was prosecuted by Clint Stiffler and William Davison, with investigative support from DA Investigator Bonita Morgan.
