On May 24, 2025, at approximately 1:45 a.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call in the 4300 block of Roseland Avenue in Old East Dallas.
When officers arrived, they located 18-year-old DeeAnthony Renaze Armstead suffering from a gunshot wound. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the scene, but Armstead was pronounced dead.
The investigation is ongoing and is being documented under case number 073386-2025.
