DALLAS, TX – Dallas Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Saturday morning in South Dallas.
On September 27, 2025, at about 1:00 a.m., officers responded to a shooting call in the 2800 block of Twyman Avenue where they found a wounded man.
According to the preliminary investigation, 31-year-old Raushaun Kirkland was shot by an unknown suspect in the 2700 block of Lenway Street. Kirkland was transported by Dallas Fire-Rescue to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The investigation is ongoing and documented under case number 139299-2025.
