Young and old will delight in the atmosphere provided by Irving Main Street Event. Activities in the Children’s Zone include pony rides, petting farm and video game truck. In the same area, young people also will enjoy local cheer groups, music and other forms of free, kid-friendly entertainment. The car show will feature custom and classic cars. For live entertainment enthusiasts, bands on the Main Stage alone will be worth a visit. Following are the Main Stage showtimes:

  • 2:30 to 4 p.m. ESCAPE: The Dallas Journey Tribute Band

The Irving Main Street Event runs along Main Street from Irving Boulevard to Third Street, and along Second Street from Hastings Boulevard to Delaware Road. Known as the city’s signature community festival, crowds upward of 5,000 converge in the historic Heritage District to enjoy attractions that appeal to all ages.

Because of the large crowd, the City of Irving promotes the use of mass transit. Parking and admission are free. For directions and other event information, visit irvingevents.org.
