Teen Book Festival Returns to Irving April 27

Celebrating a decade of literary memories, The North Texas Teen Book Festival (NTTBF) returns with over 70 Young Adult and Middle-Grade writers on Saturday, April 27 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Irving Convention Center, 500 W. Las Colinas Blvd. NTTBF welcomes several famous authors, including Diary of a Wimpy Kid author Jeff Kinney, as a keynote speaker. More than 12,000 people are expected to attend.

NTTBF SCHEDULE HIGHLIGHTS

  • Three Keynote Speakers
    All keynotes are first-come, first-served seating.
    • 9 a.m. | Wings of Fire series author Tui T. Sutherland
    • 2:30 p.m. | Karen M. McManus (One of Us Is Lying series), Jennifer Lynn Barnes (Inheritance Games series) and Jumata Emill (Wander in the Dark)
    • 3 p.m. | Diary of a Wimpy Kid author Jeff Kinney
  • More than 40 Outstanding Author Panels
    Enjoy author panels for Middle Grade students, Young Adult readers and panels that are a mix of both. Special events include Middle-Grade Madness, an interactive, action-packed time of author games and stunts, a writing workshop led by author Ruta Sepetys, and an NTTBF exclusive Get Graphic panel coordinated by bestselling graphic novelist Raina Telgemeier.
  • The festival also includes author signings, meet and greets, free swag and books, and more!

Admission and parking are free. Irving Convention Center’s concessions will not accept cash. Cash or card will be accepted at the NTTBF SWAG Shop and items sold by Pantego Books. Free parking is provided by the Charles B. Goddard Foundation.
