If the recent bouts of warm weather and rain haven’t hinted at Spring’s arrival, then this event surely will. Green Acres Nursery & Supply in Irving is hosting a Spring Kickoff to celebrate the seasonal shift, and you’re invited.
Green Acres is a go-to for its wide selection of plants, flowers and outdoor accessories, plus its friendly staff with years of experience and horticultural know-how. On March 23-24, they’re inviting the North Texas community to swing by for two days of music, food, crafts and fun. The best part: It’s free to attend.
Attendees will enjoy live music, vendor booths, a photo booth, and a tool sharpening station, so guests are encouraged to bring any small tools that need sprucing up. Snacks will be available throughout both days, including popcorn and snow cones, plus heartier fare from One90 Smoked Meats. The beloved East Dallas restaurant is popping up with its smoker to serve fresh, delicious meat plates and sandwiches.
If you’ve got kids, bring them! Green Acres will have a face painting stand and offer hand-on pot-ups, where kids can make their own potted plants to take home as souvenirs.
Green Acres will also have raffles every hour on the hour, and lots of free giveaways, so there’s never a dull moment. Join the party on Saturday, Sunday or both days, and welcome the spring season in this lively environment, surrounded by plant life and a fun-loving crowd.
