Police are investigating the death of a 55-year-old man found with extensive trauma inside his apartment on Sunday, November 24, 2024.
At approximately 11:40 a.m., officers responded to a call from a resident at an apartment complex in the 800 block of N. Center Street. The resident reported noticing a broken window at her neighbor’s apartment and, upon looking inside, saw the man lying on the floor covered in blood.
Officers arrived to find the man deceased, with signs of significant trauma. The front door of the apartment appeared to have been forced open, and two nearby vacant units in the building also had damaged windows.
Investigators are working to determine how long the man had been inside before being discovered. No suspects have been identified, and no arrests have been made.
The Arlington Police Department is canvassing the area for surveillance footage and witnesses as the investigation continues.
