The Cleburne Police Department has arrested 22-year-old Edwin Eliceo Villalvir Giron of Dallas, in connection with a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a 16-year-old female on February 25, 2025.
At approximately 6:37 a.m., officers responded to reports of a pedestrian struck by a red passenger car at the intersection of Woodard Avenue and North Ridgeway Drive.
Officers located the victim, a 16-year-old Cleburne resident, who had sustained serious injuries. She was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital where she is currently in stable condition.
Following an investigation, officers located the suspect vehicle at the Deluxe Inn, located at 101 North Ridgeway Drive in Cleburne, and identified Giron as the driver.
After an interview, Giron was arrested and charged with Collision Involving Personal Injury or Death, a third-degree felony. He is currently being held awaiting arraignment.
The crash remains under investigation by the Cleburne Police Department.
