Repeat Offender Sentenced to Life for Child Sexual Abuse in Fort Worth

Christopher Giles

Christopher Rance Giles, 39, was found guilty of Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child by a Tarrant County jury on February 27, 2025, and sentenced to life in prison.

The case originated in January 2024 when a 7-year-old family member reported sexual abuse. Fort Worth Police investigations revealed that Giles had sexually assaulted the girl multiple times between the ages of 4 and 7. Child pornography featuring the victim was also discovered on Giles' phone.

Giles is a registered sex offender with a prior 2005 conviction in Oklahoma for lewd molestation, where he sexually assaulted his 7-year-old cousin. Unbelievably, he only received seven years of probation in that case.

The current case was prosecuted by Marina Thomas and Erika Staif, with DA investigator Tiffany Johnson and victim coordinator Laura Medina assisting.
