UPDATE #2: Armonta Jackson,18, turned himself in to Dallas Police in connection with this case. He has been charged with Capital Murder.
UPDATE: Camron Davis, 20, was arrested by the U.S. Marshal’s Task Force on March 12 in connection with this case. He is charged with Murder. His bond was set at $1 million. At the time of the murder, he was out on probation on a conviction for Evading Arrest Detencion with a Vehicle.

On Saturday, March 8, 2025, at approximately 7:15 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a disturbance call in the 4700 block of South Great Trinity Forest Way near Little Lemmon Lake.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 16-year-old with a gunshot wound. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Due to the victim’s age, their name has not been released.
