Grapevine Police are investigating a fatal crash on SH-121 that occurred on Friday morning, March 21, 2025, at approximately 5:00 a.m. The incident took place near Stone Myers Parkway, where a sedan traveling northbound hit the guardrail, flipped over the wall, and landed in the southbound lanes. The vehicle was then struck by two southbound cars.
The driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene. One of the other drivers involved was transported to the hospital with minor injuries, while the second driver was unharmed.
While investigators worked to determine the cause of the crash, SH-121 was closed in both directions at Stone Myers Parkway.
Grapevine Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has surveillance video of the area to contact them immediately. Those with information can email tips to cidmail@grapevinetexas.gov. The medical examiner will release the identity of the deceased driver once the next of kin has been notified.
