Fort Worth Police Seek Suspect in Deadly Shooting of 21-Year-Old Man

The Fort Worth Police Homicide Unit is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect(s) involved in a fatal shooting at a West Division apartment complex.

On Thursday, March 27, 2025, at approximately 8:48 p.m., officers responded to a shooting call in the 6000 block of Portico Drive. Upon arrival, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound inside a vehicle.

The victim, identified as 21-year-old Maddox Garza of Fort Worth, was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
