On Friday, April 11, 2025, Colleyville Police Officers, assisted by neighboring agencies, arrested 27-year-old Gerardo Galvan after he allegedly fled the scene of a vehicle accident and attempted to evade officers.
According to police, a Colleyville officer witnessed Galvan involved in an accident and fail to stop. Galvan then allegedly fled in his vehicle and on foot, eventually being located hiding inside a nearby residence. He was apprehended by Southlake Police K9 Zeusz before being taken into custody by Colleyville Police.
After being treated at a local hospital, Galvan was transported to jail and arraigned on multiple charges, including Collision Involving Damage to a Vehicle >=$200, Evading Arrest or Detention with a Vehicle, Evading Arrest or Detention on Foot, Criminal Trespass, and Driving While License Invalid with Previous Conviction.
In addition to these Colleyville charges, Galvan was also arrested on outstanding warrants from the Richardson Police Department and the Mesquite Police Department. He is currently in custody at the Tarrant County Corrections Center, with his total bond for the Colleyville charges set at $10,000.
