A Houston man has been sentenced to 120 months in federal prison for his role in a violent ATM “jugging” robbery in Midlothian, Texas, announced Acting U.S. Attorney Nancy E. Larson for the Northern District of Texas.
Johnny Juwan Clark, 33, pleaded guilty in April 2025 to interference with commerce by robbery. He was sentenced by Chief U.S. District Judge David Godbey to 96 months for the robbery and an additional 24 months for violating the terms of supervised release from a prior federal robbery conviction.
Clark and co-defendants Tierra Toneisha Brandyberg, Corey Dashun Holloway, and Roosevelt Ford Valentine—believed to be members of the Houston-based “Hiram Clarke Money Team”—were charged in a December 2024 superseding indictment for their involvement in the July 3, 2024, robbery of an ATM technician servicing machines across the DFW area.
Clark admitted to following the technician from Houston in a rental vehicle and ultimately confronting him at a Chase Bank in Midlothian. Disguised in a hoodie and face covering, Clark forced the technician to the ground while Holloway and Valentine removed cash from the ATM. The group fled with approximately $248,000.
After returning to Houston, Clark and Brandyberg used some of the stolen cash to buy a Mercedes-Benz and jewelry.
Brandyberg pleaded guilty on July 8, 2025, and awaits sentencing. Holloway is scheduled for re-arraignment in August. Valentine’s jury trial is set for September 2025.
The case was investigated by the FBI Dallas Division and is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Rick Calvert.
