Trustees recognized criminal justice students from Singley Academy for winning first, second and third-place awards at the Texas Public Service Association State Competition March 2-3.
Criminal Justice students at Singley Academy attended their fifth Texas Public Service Association (TPSA) state-level competition March 2 - 3 at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. Sixteen students competed in various Criminal Justice related events. Of the 23 teams competing from across Texas, Academy teams won six top awards.
All five of the years the Singley Academy has been involved in the TPSA competitions, the Crime Scene Investigation or Forensic teams have placed at state every year, with no lower than a second place win.
The following students and/or teams won out of 23 teams across the State of Texas in March:
