DALLAS — Police are investigating a fatal shooting early Friday in The Cedars area that left one person dead.
Dallas police responded around 2:19 a.m. April 17, 2026, to a shooting call in the 1800 block of Park Row Avenue.
According to preliminary information, officers determined the victim had been shot by an unknown suspect. The victim was transported to a hospital by Dallas Fire-Rescue, where the person was pronounced dead.
Police said the victim was a man who presented as female. The Dallas County Medical Examiner will assist in confirming the victim’s identity.
No suspect information has been released.
The investigation remains ongoing under case number 054325-2026.
