Plano Police, Irving Police Help Arrest Two Suspects in Business Burglary Investigation

PLANO, Texas — A suspicious persons call from employees arriving at work led Plano police to quickly arrest two burglary suspects and recover stolen property, authorities said.

Officers were dispatched around 7 a.m. March 25, 2026, to the 4300 block of Mapleshade Lane after a caller reported two unknown individuals wearing hoodies and reflective vests inside a business.

The caller also provided a description of a white Dodge van believed to be connected to the suspects.

According to police, employees arriving for work reported seeing the two suspects on the second floor of the building.

Responding officers searched the business but did not locate the suspects inside. However, investigators found evidence that items had been staged for removal from the second floor, according to police.

The building owner later accessed security camera footage that provided additional details about the suspects and their vehicle.

While officers were still gathering information for a burglary report, Sgt. P. Casey located and stopped the suspect vehicle in the 400 block of North Central Expressway.

Police said Irving officers were also investigating offenses involving the same vehicle and assisted in the case.

The two occupants were detained, and a search of the van led to the recovery of clothing and masks matching descriptions provided by employees, as well as office equipment identified as property stolen from the business, according to investigators.

Both suspects were arrested on burglary charges.

Police said one of the suspects was also identified as being involved in previous offenses in Plano.

Authorities credited the quick arrests to responding officers’ investigation, information sharing and assistance from the Irving Police Department.
