IRVING, Texas - After months of anticipation, H-E-B has announced the grand opening date for its new Irving location, marking a major milestone for both the company and Dallas County shoppers.
The Texas-based grocery retailer will officially open its newest store on Wednesday, June 17, at 6 a.m. The store is located at 2351 W. Interstate Highway 635 in Irving.
Grand opening festivities will include H-E-B executives, city officials, community leaders, and local nonprofit organizations celebrating the opening of the highly anticipated location.
The nearly 120,000-square-foot store will be the first full-size H-E-B location in Dallas County, further expanding the company's growing footprint across North Texas.
H-E-B announced in April that hiring efforts were underway for the Irving store as construction neared completion.
The opening continues the company's rapid North Texas expansion. In April 2024, H-E-B announced plans for a new store near the Euless-Bedford border on Cheek-Sparger Road near State Highway 121. That H-E-B Midcities location officially opened on May 20.
H-E-B officials said the Irving store builds upon the company's longstanding presence in the region and reflects its continued investment in North Texas communities.
The new store is expected to provide residents with H-E-B's full range of grocery offerings, fresh foods, pharmacy services, and community-focused programs.
The grand opening is scheduled for 6 a.m. on June 17.
