DALLAS, Texas - Dallas Police are asking for the public's help locating a 31-year-old man wanted on murder and aggravated assault warrants in connection with a June shooting that killed one man and critically injured another.
Police are searching for Christopher Johnson, 31, in connection with the shooting that occurred on June 27, 2026, in the 3900 block of Linfield Road.
Johnson is wanted on warrants for Murder and Aggravated Assault. Police describe him as 6 feet tall and approximately 160 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.
The shooting occurred at approximately 2:09 p.m. when Dallas Police officers were dispatched to the 3900 block of Linfield Road following reports of gunfire.
When officers arrived, they found two men who had been shot multiple times.
One of the victims, identified as 28-year-old Nigel Calhoun, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second victim was transported by Dallas Fire-Rescue to a hospital in critical condition.
The initial investigation indicated the two victims had been shot multiple times by suspects who had not yet been identified at the time. As the investigation progressed, Johnson was identified as the killer.
Crime Stoppers Offering Reward for Information
Investigators are now seeking Johnson in connection with the deadly shooting and are asking anyone who knows where he may be to contact authorities.
