Las Colinas-Based eIVF Launches AI Tool to Help Fertility Doctors Automate Patient Notes
IRVING, Texas - A Las Colinas-based healthcare technology company is rolling out an artificial intelligence system designed to reduce the time fertility specialists spend documenting patient visits.
eIVF, headquartered at 1212 Corporate Drive in Irving, has introduced eVA, a suite of AI-powered tools integrated directly into the company's electronic medical record platform used by fertility practices.
The first feature, eVA Scribe, can transcribe conversations between physicians and patients in real time and use the information to generate a visit summary within a clinical note template. After reviewing and finalizing the note, a provider can add it directly to the patient's chart.
The company says integrating the technology into its existing EMR eliminates the need for providers to move information between a separate AI application and a patient's medical record.
"It's like having a dictation solution built directly into eIVF," said Dr. Samuel Chantilis, medical director at Dallas-Fort Worth Fertility Associates. "eVA saves me time and has a lot of potential to make clinical documentation much easier and more efficient."
eIVF said eVA Scribe is the first component of a broader AI initiative, with additional cloud-based and artificial intelligence features planned for release in the coming months. The company did not provide specific release dates or details about those future features.
"As eVA and our cloud strategy continue to mature, we'll continue to deploy intelligent, fully integrated capabilities that streamline clinic workflows and reduce the administrative burden on providers and staff," eIVF CEO Nimesh Shah said.
Founded in 2002, eIVF develops electronic medical record technology specifically for reproductive endocrinology and infertility practices. The company says its software is used by more than 125 fertility practices and clinics worldwide and has supported more than 1 million treatment cycles.
eIVF is a portfolio company of Atlantic Street Capital.
